I stumbled upon the Roter Hof one Sunday evening when nearly all the other restaurants in Flensburg seemed to be shut. They have a choice of about 10 vegetarian dishes, including, rather amazingly, a veggie Currywurst. I settled for the authentic dark bread with salad and their own delicious radish and yogurt sauce, to which the kitchen were happy to add some cheese to make a satisfying main course. Including a bottle of local dark beer, a large slab of fruit crumble cheesecake and a coffee, the total price was 13 Euros, which must make this the best value restaurant in Flensburg, if not the whole of Germany.
