This is a must for any foodie. Takes about 45 minutes to do the track from the harbor, all up the hill, but best things in life are not free. The food: Firstly we were grated and shown to our table by the lady owner who made us feel like at home. She then translated the menu, gave us a sample of the home made sour meat, their specialty. We finally ordered Onion soup, really good and followed by Schnitzel, one Vienese style and the other Jager, which comes with sauce. Both juicy and tasty.
Now for some useful tips. In Germany Schnitzel is generally a pork meat.
The place does not take credit cards.
Owner will happily arrange a Taxi, circa 10 euro back to town.
Best of all, two beers plus twice two course meals for 44 euro. We will come again.
