The hotel itself was okay, clean but a bit dated. No aircon in the room which probably isn't a regular concern but during our stay it was too hot and we couldn't open the windows due to the mosquitos. The staff stood out as some of the most miserable people I've ever come across in hotels. Their English was good but they were very dismissive almost to the point of being aggressive. All communication and forced niceties on their part appeared through gritted teeth. We felt quite uncomfortable when checking in and out. The staff did seem a bit more friendly with the older guests and it may have been down to some underlying distain for having to provide a service for a younger couple as we are. They appeared to have decided that they 'didn't like the look of us' from the start and were rude throughout. Hugely underwhelmed by the whole process, wouldn't stay again. PLEASE CHEER UP!
