The local Leipzig Gose beer is different, but if you like it (and we did) it's a great start to the meal. Food was very tasty, came in good time, and was quite reasonable for being in the centre of town along this strip of restaurants and bars. Service, as other reviews have noted, was particularly friendly - much appreciated. All in all, a great place. Can't wait to go back!

liked the setting and the good service, but you need to like heavy german cooking. Nothing to dislike, really.

Greatly enjoyed our meal here. The service was excellent and the waitress humored us by dealing with our poor German skills. The food was very good. Would definitely return.

A nice and cozy restaurant in "Leipzigs eating-out street". Very nice atmosphere and cozy in the street.

The food was mostly Saxonian and very tasty. My schnitzel was served with tasty gravy with potatoes and herbs. My other companions ate fish, which looked very tasty and was beautifully presented on the plate. Beer was also local and fresh from the draft.

Prices were fair for a very touristic area. Definitely nice!

At this place you get only local dishes which are quite heavy. We tried only a soup and a baked potato. The food was ok but nothing special. I found the food too pricey (but not expensive).
