We found this place by chance whilst wandering round Leipzig looking for a bite to eat in the evening. It's away from the main concentration of touristy restaurants, so was just that bit quieter. We didn't actually go inside; from the street it seems to be a typical German Kneipe (and possibly a bit smoky within?), but it was very pleasant sitting outside. The food is typically no-frills German but superb value - nothing on the menu was more than 10 euros. My wife had a massive plate of Bauernfruhstuck, and I opted for a fish salad; both of which were delicious and washed down with excellent beer. As long as you can get a seat outside, I'd recommend this place to anyone.
