The restaurant is located directly at the remnants of one of the first German railway stations, which are restored carefully. The interior of the restaurants has some relation to this. The menu consists of typical Germain cuisine, mainly. The wine list is rather pure, but the beer list is long an interesting with an old German traditional beer: The so- called "Gose", which you can drink almost only there. All food has a very good quality. In the summertime you can find tables outside in the "Biergarten".

Home made beer and a very relaxed atmosphere with good German food in a very large restaurant which is better than other traditional ones such as the Auerbachskeller. Try this one instead if you want German food and beer made on the premises. PROST.

A right place to try good german food and beer.
The atmosphere is very nice and the staff friendly.
You must book in advance otherwise no chance to find a place.

The environment is great, not crowded like other similar restaurants in the city center. The access is not good at the moment because of reform of the station. Delicious food (rumpsteak... we changed the country potatoes to rösti which was amaaaazing!!) and Gose beer is great!
The waffel as desert was also very good! We recommend!

Dear magicju1500,
thank you for your positive feedback. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay and our cuisine. We also look very much forward to the end of the constructions which will hopefully be mid-December when the City-Tunnel will finally open. Thus, when you'll visit our restaurant again next year the setting will be perfect.
We wish you a wonderful Christmas season and send best regards.
