Well located on the riverbank, a close walk to the historic center of Dresden, the Maritim Hotel is right next door to a major conference center.
My wife and I stayed for three nights, on our first visit to Dresden.
The hotel looks like it may once have been a large mill building, that has been converted to a hotel.
The entrance leads to a soaring atrium, with two glassed-in elevators efficiently serving the rooms on seven floors.
The restaurant overlooks the river.
Our room was spacious, well designed and comfortable, equipped with attractive, matching art deco design furniture and furnishings, and was spotlessly maintained throughout our stay.
The bathroom was also spacious, with separated toilet, and bath/shower combination.
Everything functioned well.
Our only - and minor - complaint was that we were provided with only one small bar of soap during our stay, and there was no facial tissue ( kleenex ) provided in the room.
We thought the room price was very reasonable.
We would stay there again.
