Owner description: This 394-foot mural along the wall in the Royal Mews courtyard depicts a parade of Saxony rulers, some walking, others on horseback. Scratched into stucco by the artist in 1876, the mural was later recast onto porcelain tiles and, incredibly, survived the 1945 bombing of Dresden that destroyed most buildings.

I passed this mural a few times on my way to or from the hotel. It's not quite as impressive as others on tripadvisor have suggested.

It's amazing that this whole wall on the Royal Mews was left undamaged. What a pity it would have been if it had been destroyed. Photos don't do it justice.

The mosaic tiled wall called the Procession of Princes is absolutely beautiful to look at and the best thing of all is that is completely free.

I was impressed by this mural, which is the largest porcelain artwork in the world. It's made of about 23,000 Meissen porcelain tiles.
The mural displays the ancestral portraits of the 35 margraves, electors, dukes and kings of the House of Wettin between 1127 and 1904.
You should see it without fail if you are in Dresden.

I really like the city center of Dresden having lots of monumental buildings. Walking through them, suddenly you see this wall with the impressive art on it. I don't have deep information about this royal family. It may mean more to the German or history lovers. But members are depicted nicely. Shouldn't be missed. It's on the way to River Elbe.
