I stayed here with family in a suite. I chose this place as it was closer to the Int. Congress Centre where I was attending a conference. The room was spacious and stylish. For a hotel that is modern, the TV in the room was small and looked outdated. No LCD but <20 inch TV in a hotel with room charges over 100 Euros. In my 3 weeks Europe trip we stayed at 7 different hotels in price range 90-200 Euros/night, this Park Plaza hotel is the only one that still has old fashioned Television in its room!.

The front desk staff were very helpful and were always interested to make us feel good at the hotel. The breakfast had good spread and were impressed with the quality. The fruits however, looked old. The location of the hotel was perfect for going around Dresden.

Even if you don't particularly like modern art, this hotel has a lovely ambience. Our twin room was spacious, modern, with interestingly odd dimensions - sort of futuristic, another reviewer suggests - and an amazing bathroom with spa bath! It also had the advantage of being quiet, amazing in view of the fact that the breakfeast room was packed every morning! One never got the impression of many people being about, or of noise. The breakast (we stayed two nights and ate there) was extensive, and as soon as a food item disappeared (which happened pretty quickly) the hard working and very efficient waiting staff brought in fresh supplies! A happy buzzing place for guests of all ages! I would suggest though that the small TV be replaced with a modern flat screen model. Amazing that a hotel of this calibre doesn't have this already! Other than that, full marks, and also especially to its receptionists who were always helpful and obliging!

Room Tip: Upgrades are available, provided that the hotel is not booked out. Might be worth asking, we did, and were very happy with the larger room we got.

We stayed at the Artotel for one night on a short trip from Prague. We had two rooms, both of which were very spacious. I liked the modern decor of the hotel, especially the bathroom. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for us, very close to a tram stop which took us to the Alstadt and also directly to the train station. We were there during cold weather, but the distance to the Alstadt would definitely also be walkable during nicer weather. I like thed free wi-fi, and I found the connection speed to be very good. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel since it wasn't included in our room rate, and I thought the cost for breakfast was high. The only negative about the room was that the temperature was warm and not easily adjusted, so that we had to keep the windows slightly open even during a cold night. But, that would not be enough to prevent me from staying at the hotel again on a future trip.

Well, Art´Otel in Dresden is one of the hotels you will definatelly remember for while. Beautifull modern rooms equiped with futuristic bathroom and decorated in art style. Styed only one night and found nothing to complain about. Breakfest was standart german style. Not bad either.

Stayed for 2 nights in February, 2012.

Great hotel and a fantastic price. Close to Berlin Mitte rail station and only 3 minutes from the main station by rail. Very close to the Old Town too.

Did not have breakfast at the hotel.

Rooms were very spacious and enjoyed my time at this hotel.

Would recommend to anyone coming to Dresden. Great location to the Messe (Trade Fair location).
