Perfect location, very clean hotel and rooms, excellent pool!!! I recomend this hotel because you get more things for the amount you pay. The prices at the restaurants of the hotel are resonable and the food and drinks are just perfect. If i will go again at Dresden sure i will stay there again!!!!

Great location,friendly and helpful staff. The only problem we had was logging into wifi which was quickly resolved by staff. This was at the end of our vacation and wish we could of stay a few more days. We look forward in returning to the Dresden Hilton. Great job Hilton!

Yes its a Hilton, so the standard is given, the location is great, just nearby Frauen-kirche, so best place for walking arround in the center.
Unfortunately the rooms are small, as the building is an ancient house, so there is no seperate shower, an windows are not sound- proove, so you will hear trafik noise.
Breakfast is nice

We stayed for a night in August to see the Stadtfest. With our Diamond Hhonors membership we were allocated a beautiful Duplex suite which was absolutely stunning. Check-in was professional and impressive and we felt set for a great stay.

Once we had settled into our room we tried to log on to the Hotel wireless and sadly things changed. Using our name and room number to log in as instructed at check-in this failed. We phoned Guest Services and they advised us instead to use the access code they then gave us to log in. We did this but received a message that the code had expired. We phoned Guest Services a second time and they said they couldn't understand why the code was showing as expired and asked us to visit the Reception Desk. We travelled down five floors to Reception but the agent there shrugged her shoulders with total disinterest and inferred that the problem was down to user error. She curtly announced that all she could do was to connect us with I-Bahn who apparently are the providers of the Hotel's wireless system. We returned back up five floors to our room to await the call from iBahn which duly arrived. The iBahn agent explained that our name was not in their system against the room number hence the initial log-in problems. They recommended that we get two new access codes from Guest Services and were specific that we would need a code for each device we wanted to use. We called Guest Services a third time to request the new codes - they gave us one new code but refused to provide a code for a second device at which point I finally lost patience and asked to speak with the Duty Manager. A rather confused call followed but the Duty Manager promised to investigate and finally visited our room with a colleague from Reception to explain that, despite what we'd been told by iBahn, in fact only one working code was needed for up to three devices and that the code we'd been given by Guest Services in our third call to them would be fine, as indeed it then proved to be.

So a full hour after trying to connect to the Hotel wireless, after three calls to Guest Services, a visit to Reception, a call with iBhan and a visit from the Duty Manager and his colleague we were connected. Needless to say we were unimpressed with this immature and uncoordinated service response, with being fobbed off unnecessarily to the Hotel's third party IT provider, and with the inaccurate information we were given by them and by Guest Services. If a case study were ever needed in a Hotel not 'owning' a problem this could be it. Genuine words of apology followed but this experience really took the shine off our stay at the Hilton Dresden.

More positively, the Hotel offers a comfortable Exec Lounge and canapés and breakfast here were very good. The Hotel has an ideal position for all the sights of Dresden and I should say that these really exceeded our expectations. Dresden is a beautiful city and a very pleasant place to spend time.

If the hotel could wise-up its customer service and instil some genuine team working and ownership amongst its people then one day the Hilton Dresden might match up to the wonderful city it serves.

Certainly an excellent location and for that location also good value for money.
The hotel itself looks already a little bit tired but its nothing disappointing.
I would probably still give 5 points but there is one difference (which - certainly - could be just my subjective feeling) - in contrary to most of other Hilton hotels the staff is less smiling, you do not feel so welcome, you see less smiles, less eye contact, I would almost tend to ask "is this the difference between the West and East?" (however I did not have this experience in Berlin).
We spent just one night but the feeling was present for the entire stay.
The Executive lounge is fine but not especially convenient and the staff also not very attentive.
Sorry about that - certainly we survived without falling into a bad mood but, however its something what I am not used to see in other Hilton hotels.
