We stayed here for one night in July. It was a nice, new hotel - had the modern amenities , like elevator, A/C (which was MUCH appreciated, since it as hot when we were there, and most other places we stayed didn't have a/c) .

The location is nice, staff was friendly and helpful.

The location, close proximity to city center, is what makes this place great. It's about a 5 - 10 minute walk.

The hotel itself is nice, similar to the newer Holiday Inn Express in the states. My room was very clean, bed was very comfortable. I would not classify this as a motel.

Breakfast was adequate and just enough.

Free wifi but if you have more than one device you have to ask for a password for each.

Staff was also very helpful and friendly.

I would recommend this hotel and would stay again.

The Motel One Dresden is a brandnew designer motel, located in walking distance from the main sightseeing spots The hotel is an excellent alternative to higher priced hotels if you accept a lack of space. The hotel rooms are very small but have comfortable beds, flat creen Tv and modern bath rooms. It´s an execllent place if you need just an accomodation for the night for one or two days. There are plenty of restaurants, Cafes and Bars around the hotel in walking distance

We were coming by train from Frankfurt after a flight from Seattle and did not want to stay in Old Town, having visited there before. Hotel did not look far from Neustadt bahnhof and since we would be tired thought we could take a taxi for short ride there. Bahnhof under reconstruction and difficult to get from one side to the other. Exited close side, no taxis, back up stairs to track and could not access other side of station. Down the stairs and then around the station to front of bahnhof and area marked for taxis. No taxis. Waited awhile and decided to walk and turned out to be only 10 minutes. Fortunately nice weather. Had dinner at nearby Wenzel Prager Bierstuben Dresden. Adequate small room, bed a bit hard. Standard motel one breakfast, but was crowded with tour group(s). Enjoyed the coffee choices. Walked to bahnhof after checking out.

This hotel is well situated a short walk from Dresden Neustadt station and the Berlin coach stop. The old town is about 10/15 minutes walk away. There are restaurants and bars nearby. Hotel staff are efficient and very helpful. The One Welcome rate gives breakfast and unlimited WiFi. The rooms are functional, very clean and have a very comforable bed. An excellent double room/single occupancy hotel but two people with luggage may find the space a bit tight.

A brandnew designer motel, located in walking distance from the main sightseeing spots, friendly staff ... And affordable even for travellers with a low budget (83 € double room + 5 € for the dog per night)! We loved it. Highly recommended.

I stayed for One week in this hotel to attend a conference at another nearby hotel. Motel One was much cheaper to stay in budget. The rooms are small, but functional. I am a bit of a tram fan, so I asked for a room facing the street with trams. They made it happen. With the window closed, you could not hear any traffic. The room layout was little odd, but I made it work. It was a bit awkward to work in the room, but doable. I paid for breakfast which got me wifi for free. The buffett breakfast was adequate and tasty for me. I love Keizer rolls, at least that is what I call them from NY. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Dresden Neustadt railway station, and a one minute walk to a tram stop at Anton-Leipziger. Old Town is a 20 minute walk, or 5 minutes by tram. For those who like a clean inexpensive hotel and don't mind smallish rooms, this is a recommend.
