We visited Dresden last month and went out to eat with my husband's cousin's family near their apartment. What a great little place. The park was a plus as the children could go play after they ate. Our dinners were ample and quite good. The waiter's English was very good and this is not a tourist's area. There were children's portions of noodles and spaghetti that were quite reasonable. 3€. Three of us had the Leberkäse (somewhat like meatloaf but ground much finer) with gravy and each of us had a beer. Radeberger Pilsner, a local good beer. One person had the Tortilla with Räucher lachs. Coke products were available too.
I would recommend this cafe to families, especially.
