We stayed here while visiting Trier for the weekend. The hotel is conveniently located right across the Porta Nigra. As a matter of fact, the breakfast area/restaurant and some rooms feature views of it. Rooms were big enough, modern, and clean. The hotel bar was great value, as was the parking on the premises. Breakfast was about what I would expect from a 4-star continental breakfast, though the staff might have been a bit too eager to take away empty plates. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

We had a lovely privilege room overlooking Porta Nigra and a lovely touch was the gift of a Trier guidebook, and although we had brought our own guidebooks, this was the most compact and the best and probably the cheapest! We ate in the bistro and the restaurant, however the prices of the meals were the same and even for room service. Parking is behind the hotel and at a reasonable rate for inner city of 7 euros per day. All major tourist attractions are within easy walking distance.

I have stayed in accor group hotels previously and it's been a mixed bag...however this hotel is brilliant. Booked a room with a view of the porta nigra well worth the money. Easy parking, friendly, helpful check in. Great bar and terrace area in a fantastic location-easy walk to the river which has beautiful restaurants, well worth a visit.
