We had a lovely privilege room overlooking Porta Nigra and a lovely touch was the gift of a Trier guidebook, and although we had brought our own guidebooks, this was the most compact and the best and probably the cheapest! We ate in the bistro and the restaurant, however the prices of the meals were the same and even for room service. Parking is behind the hotel and at a reasonable rate for inner city of 7 euros per day. All major tourist attractions are within easy walking distance.

I have stayed in accor group hotels previously and it's been a mixed bag...however this hotel is brilliant. Booked a room with a view of the porta nigra well worth the money. Easy parking, friendly, helpful check in. Great bar and terrace area in a fantastic location-easy walk to the river which has beautiful restaurants, well worth a visit.

This hotel is in the center of Trier. You can walk across the street through the arch of Porta Nigra to the main shopping area of Trier, which has good restaurants and shops. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was typically German (that is not a complaint), and the bedroom was quite sparse, but clean, with a duvet on each bed. The bathroom was modern and clean. We parked for a fee in the basement of the hotel, which was very convenient. Our room came with a breakfast buffet which was quite good and European in style.
