Stayed one night at the hotel in a comfort 3-bed room while on a motorbike trip through the Eiffel area. We did not have diner at the restaurant, so I cannot say anything about that.
Reception upon check-in was friendly until the phone went and the lady at reception responded to this. While on the phone she gave us directions to our room.
The room we had was on ground level in the second building. A very large wheelchair accessible room, including a small kitchen and terrace with garden furniture. Everything clean and tidy. Since we were there only for one night, we didn't use the cabinets nor the kitchen. Slept very well, no sound heard from neighbors or the big road in the neighborhood.
A rich breakfast is served. The day we were there it was very busy and there was only one waiter present. He went out of his way to provide everyone with coffee as soon as possible and clean the tables after guests had left.
It is a good 45 minute / 3 km walk from the hotel to the Domfreihof in the centre of the city (walk, not run...). Keep in mind that the walk back to the hotel is uphill. In the night this route is pretty well lit though.
Perfect to relax and a city trip to Trier.More
