I used to live in Trier a few years back. Guaranteed, I would visit this restaurant at least once or twice a week! The Kartoffelsuppe mit Bockwurst is always great to get the meal started, particularly on a bitterly cold Trier night.
However, for mains, I would always go for the twice-baked jacket potatoes or the Chef-Schnitzel, a Wiener Schintzel baked inside a cheesy, creamy potato gratin. I agree with other reviewers, the portions are large and you will end up taking some home. Never a bad thing though!
It's fantastic value for money for the amount of food you get! Highly recommended!
