Really welcoming hosts, lovely wood fire, marvellous food and a really great atmosphere - a wonderful place to stay would have really liked to have stayed longer The situation of Rockhaye is great. there are a number of walks nearby and it is possible to walk to the village albeit up a hill. We ate at the pub in the village and found it very fine. Agood atmosphere with food to match. Maggie and Fred went out of their way to be helpful even finding a church for me to attend an early morning service on the Sunday I think that a good amount of the food came from local sources. Fred even makes the bread for breakfast and gets a paper for you. The homemade biscuits made by Maggie are OUT OF THIS WORLD, .
