The restaurant is located only few minutes walking from the Koenigsallee. The atmosphere and the furnishing are really nice and original. We were warmly welcomed and escorted to our table and we were asked immediately for something to drink.
The menu is really particular and original and there is as well a good choice for vegetarians. Just make sure to take a whole menu: in this case the relationship price-product is good otherwise it could seem a little bit pricey.
The service is excellent: attentive and always ready to your request. The food is a trip across the “taste”. From the starter to the dessert you have the opportunity to try different particular creations of the kitchen. Really nice the amuse bouche: swordfish balls and tomatoes pralines (the presentation and the taste of the last ones was surprising. Really interesting as well the small drop of basil which accompanied my starter: once you break the drop you have an explosion of basil taste. We had both lamb as main course: even if it was nice presented, I have to say that the taste could be better. The dessert was again exceptional. Besides there is as well an amuse bouche before the dessert and once you eat your dessert as well, you have the opportunity to enjoy some pralines as well. I had the one with chili: phenomenal!
The only negative point maybe the wine: I found it a little bit pricey.
But as said if you are looking not only for something to eat but for a culinary experience this one is the right place!

Horrible experience – the food here is pretty and innovative unfortunately it all sums up to nothing because of the extremely bad service. First glass of wine served 10 minutes after first dish – off to a very bad start. Six times empty wine and/or water glasses – When a restaurant chooses to place the bottles off table it requires attention to refill if you can’t make this work move the bottles to the table. The lack of service is not due to a lack of staff but lack of coordination and management. I mentioned the problems to the head waiter who tree times on our remark had filled empty glasses – and there was no reaction, explanation or apology – only a nodding throughout. All in all a very bad experience that totally overshadows the beautiful food.
If you are in Düsseldorf go to Victorian, Berens am Kai, Hummerstübchen there are so many good choices – enjoy !-)

This restaurant came highly recommended to me by a colleague, who had also experienced the culinary creativity first-hand. We reserved for a business lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the extraordinary mix of loud art in a modern, quiet setting in which culinary delights are served by a most professional, friendly staff. Not only is the menu a creative mix of flavors and options, but the dishes are equally inspired, small works of art of their own served on an array of dishes, a more Eastern influence. The prices are high, but not without good reason. The lunch menu provides a wonderful opportunity to try the restaurant for a bit less. The highlight for us came at the end of the meal, when the chocolate truffle wagon was wheeled to our table – a most appealing choice of flavor combinations like white chocolate olive oil, dark chocolate with Tasmanian pepper, or rosemary caramel truffles await you, so save room! My recommendation comes as high as that of my colleague.

Great modern restaurant with funny, trendy, interesting decorations and atmosphere.
Food was excellent in small portions tho, but proudly high prices. Friendly service, except for the supervisor or whoever that was. Huge winelist. A sweeeet present when you leave - you get to choose filled chocolates from a huuuge assortment to round off the visit. Def would there go again for a special occasion.
