A friend and I stayed in the Burns Art & Culture Apartments for 2 nights in late April. The location is convenient, about a 10 minute walk from the train station and about a 20-minute walk from Alstadt and other lively areas.

The apartment is lovely, bright, spacious, huge bathroom, big kitchen. The amount of space, the decor, and the illumination all make it seem like a great value. The apartment is a unique layout with the bedroom in an upstairs semi-open loft area, which has a cool window that opens out onto a balcony you can crawl out onto. The bedroom includes a desk and closet.

The internet connection seemed ok, but I don't think it's free (I used my friend's computer).

We did not get breakfast, but there are a few supermarkets close by and plenty of room in the fridge for breakfast stuff, beer, water, etc. We didn't cook in the kitchen but it seemed basically, but adequately, equipped.

I wholeheartedly recommend these spacious and stylish apartments!

Everything about our stay here was fantastic! For about 110 euros, we stayed in a two-floor room, with separate kitchen, living room and bedroom (and bathroom, obviously). Breakfast was included in the rate, and also parking in the underground parking garage (which was quite an experience, entering an elevator by car and then going underground).

The hotel is centrally located, about a ten minute walk to the city center (Königsallee), and easily reachable by car. Staff were very friendly, the breakfast buffet was plentiful, and the neighborhood is very quiet.

Overall, I definitely look forward to returning here, there really wasn't anything to complain about.

I stayed with a friend in a type C apartment and it was extremely spacious with lots of windows, plenty of light and lovely decor.

The windows open fully so you don't overheat and it's in a quiet street but just a stone's throw from the station and one street away from an underground station and a supermarket.

The kitchenette only has settings for two and has no mugs (only cups), no spatula for the frying pan and no can opener, but does have a coffee percolator. You might need to bring your own tin opener etc. if you'll want one.

The apartments are serviced 7 days a week with fresh towels every day and you come back in the evening to an apartment that looks the same as when you first walked in, lovely.

It's a lovely place to relax, the beds and leather sofas are extremely comfy and I would definitely recommend these apartments to others.

One thing of note, there are marble walls around the shower and the gap between to get in might not suit some larger guests.

This suite hotel is very spacious and has a modern interior design that makes it look great on pictures. There is however something missing in terms of ambience.. the room felt cold and anonomus despite all the design furniture and excellent lighting options available. The room was also physically very cold and the only radiators were located behind the curtains with very little heat coming through. It did not help that housekeeping turned off the heat that I had put on during the day so that our room would be warmer when we returned the next day. They also turned off the towel heater and we never managed to get it to work again so cold towels for us! Housekeeping did also use the common outdoor area for having breakfast and SMOKING.. this was not very nice while we were trying to enjoy the sunshine with a simple green tea. In general the hotel staff was not up to standard. The gentleman helping us check in spoke extremely limited english and in general seemed out of place. This would be a great place if they spent some more money on staff and fixed the ambience in the rooms.

This hotel was a good find. The rooms, are very spacious and are fully equipped with fridge, cooker and microwave. This makes it a good place to stay if one chooses to save money by grabbing breakfast in a local supermarket. You would however then miss the excellent, if expensive, breakfast provided in the hotel ground floor. Shame there is no free wi-fi as this would make this a five star review.
