I spent 2 nights in the hotel. Rooms are quite less equipped as I would expect. Anyhow service is good and hotel staff will help you to feel good here. View from restaurant to arena is simply great :) Nothing to do in close distance to the hotel but u have u bahn stop.

Stayed: October 2013, traveled on business

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, it's part of the Dusseldorf arena and over looks and is part of the Football Stadium which is used by the Dusseldorf team.

Situated close to the airport you can see the control tower and see the planes take off.

I was attending a show at the arena which is a 2 minute walk. Also a train service runs from the Hotel into the city.

My main gripe is 10 euro a day wifi charge, which gives a free bottle of water per day for your room.

The rooms were clean with no tea or coffee making facilities.

Bar and resteraunt were good with friendly service from the staff. Not a huge menu but ok for a few nights, anymore abd you would gave to eat out. Arnie behind the bar was very good. Breakfast charged at 13 euros for typical Buffett style of cooked and cold meats and normal continental
food.

Taxis from the hotel to the airport 15 euros and into the Old Town 13 euros.

When the football teams are playing it can become very busy with 15k home fans attending, something you may want to avoid as the hotel gets over run.

Overall I would stay again for the location of the exhibition arena, but if the arena is not a factor perhaps staying more in the city would be better for eating out and seeing some of Duseldorf.

I had unexpected stayat this Hotel on June 12th 2013 due to missed connecting flight with Lufthansa from Dussellsorf Airport.

The Hotel is approximately 10 to 15 miniutes from the Airport via Taxi. Location I guess Hotel is ideal for the Dusseldorf airport and it also serves well as Business or events Hotel . It is seems also as part of the Dusseldorf Stadium. I must say you have excellant view of the stadium from the Restuarante and Breakfast area,

I was allocated Room 317 on the 3rd floor. The room was spacious and it had two single beds...although I found the bed mattress on the soft side. The room was clean and well furnished.
The bathroom was adquate....it had shower cubicle . But unlike many other Hotels of this standard it does not provide emergency toiletrees in the bathroom eg such shampoo, comb, temp toothpaste/brush etc for those customers who are there due to missed or cancelled flights.

The room also did not have coffee/ tea making provison nor fridgebar for cold drinks.
But overall the room was of good quality.

The evening buffet dinner was of good standard and the staff in the restuarante were Exellant and friendly. Very helpful indeed,! The breakfast provided was of very good standard and all types of food options were available in buffet form eg cereals, breads/rolls, fruits, yogurts, cheeses, cold meat /spreads ,eggs/bacon/sausages etc and hot/cold beverages.

The postives about this Hotel is very friendly professional staff and the location near the Airport and on the less postive side it seems bit far away from the Centre of Dusseldorf .
It is a good hotel for conferences and events or for transit passengers!

Room Tip: Rooms on higher floors......would be more quieter

Stayed here for an event at the stadium, could not have asked for me breakfast was everything you would want and need, rooms are spacious and cosy and staff are all very friendly! Only downside is its a out of the way, so city centre is a bit of a trek.
