“fantastic hotel, good price”
Reviewed June 30, 2006

A group of 6 of us booked the Hotel berial several months ago for our trip to the World Cup. Their web site was quite descriptive, but I'm not always taken in by these.
Upon arrival at Dusseldorf main railway station, we booked taxis to take us there(you can walk it, but I'd advise against it, as you'd more than likely get lost). Taxi fares are usually about 7 euro, so it's not expensive.
The hotel is in a quiet back street, and on a corner. It's quite unasuming, but has a large sign abopve it,so you wont miss it.
The room we had could easily sleep 4 people and was very clean. Rooms were made up early every day, and the bathrooms had been recently refurbished, with a very new design.
Staff at the hotel couldn't have been more friendly or helpful, and I'd like to say a big thankyou to them all. Each morning we were treated to a hot/cold buffet which was well stocked and delicious. Members of staff were even on hand to make oy cappuchinos if you wanted.
The location of the hotel is ideal for the new and old town, and once you get your bearings, taxis aren't neaded. Sadly, we didn't spend enough time in Dusseldorf to see the city, but I will return with my wife sometime to this lovely hotel and give it the time it deserves.
For what we paid (75 euros p/n), it represented fantastic value and I would definatly reccommend it to anyone.

5 Thank Roy Little

Excellent location just 5 minutes from the hotel, i stayed here whilst going to the world cup football at the Fan Fest in Gelsenkirchen. The tram stop is just 2 minutes walk if that!! Breakfast was nice but get down early because it does go quickly if lots of people are staying well by 9.30am not much left!! Hotel reception are fantastic and very friendly and 99% of them speak English, room was cleaned every morning and fresh towels provided. Try and request one of the modern rooms as the older rooms have not yet been updated and look a bit dull but my room was fantastic for any solo travellers request the modern single room.

Overall i would give this hotel an excellent rating and i hope that you stay here when visiting Dusseldorf.
