Mum and I enjoyed a long weekend in dusseldorf at hotel berial. It really was fantastic, very clean, modern and well connected. The tram station is two minutes walk away or walking into the town takes no longer than 15 mins. The eggs at breakfast were to die for!! I would highly recommend this hotel, the staff are so helpful and polite, if we ever make a trip back to dusseldorf we will be returning to hotel berial! Thank you to a great hotel.

This hotel is like a boutique hotel every room is slightly different, the room we had 444 on the top floor, was clean and well maintained, the staff are so friendly and welcoming> The man on the desk at night (Herbert) was so nice & funny. The breakfast was continental and had some hot food. The hotel is in such a good place for the the old town and Christmas markets just 10 minuets away... Cant wait to return!!!!.

Stayed as part of a group of 10 males in March 2013. The location is ideal as it is a 10 minute walk from the lively Altstadt, but still in a quiet location with minimal noise at night.

The staff were friendly, and the hotel clean. The only complaints I would have would be the sizes of the rooms - which were very small. This was not a massive issue as we literally only used the rooms to sleep and wash. The beds seemed fairly small to me and my roommate as well - but this could have been as we are both used to much larger beds at home, as we are both big lads (I stand at 6 ft1 and he is at least 6 ft 5...). There was also a large patch of damp on the carpet alongside our bed which stayed wet throughout the duration of our stay (3 days). Despite this, we did not raise this with the staff as we felt it was a minor issue.

Aside from the trivial issues with the room, I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning to stay in Dusseldorf for pleasure or business, and I would definitely come back.

I was upgraded to a double room for free. Although the room was a little bit small, it was overall very comfortable, with all the necessary accessories and design furniture. Free wifi in the room. The hotel is not centrally located, however there is a tramway stop close by (5 minutes walk) and the old Dusselford is within a 10 to 15 minutes walk. Very good breakfast buffet. Overall very good value for money.

The horrible smell that pervades the breakfast room or the corridors of this hotel? It's like they have an incontinent cat or are running an unclean nursing home for the elderly in the basement, it's awful. Aside of that the hotel is spotlessly clean, the breakfast is good and plentiful. The location is good a short walk from the Altstadt. Try not to get a room at the back of the hotel because they overlook an outside smoking area and the cleaners leave the windows open and your room will stink of smoke, a fan is provided to keep the room cool, use it and keep the window closed. The staff are helpful. Personally I'm not sure if I would return but the good points possibly outweigh the smell problem.

Nice, clean hotel with friendly staff. Close to Old Town by walk and to fast tram connecting it with other parts of city. Very, very good breakfast, satisfied for any consumers. One weekness is that the is no parking in the hotel. You have to go about 200-300 meters to Parking place where hotel books some places and have to pay for it.

I booked this hotel about a month ago. On arriving in Dusseldorf the hotel was willing to let us have our room on arrival at 11am. Which after 8 hours of travelling was fantastic, we found the rooms to be decorated with real style and originality and very , very clean ! During our stay the hotel staff were always really helpful. The hotel is very easy to find from the tram station and really well appointed with a genuine ten minute walk from the altstadt. I would heartily recommend this hotel and if I came back here I would be more than happy to stay here again. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Great value and brilliant !
