One of the best hotels in the world as known and also the best hotel in Düsseldorf in my opinion because its located at the ( königsallee ) the best section of the city were all the luxuries are gathering! You can find all the luxury brands such ' Giorgio Armani , Louis Vuitton & more more ' in just few steps away from the hotel plus the good restaurants in the areas around the hotel!

Fabulous rooms, bar none. Not huge rooms but doesn't feel cramped. Fantastic beds and pillows. Radiant heated bathroom floor. Do I notice when the bathroom floor is not heated? No, but oh my, when it is, it's spectacular, breakfast was very good with some of the best eggs and nicely cooked bacon in Europe. No classic German bread though, it's the one missing item at breakfast. The breakfast and service overall declined over the weekend. Think there were too many non business folks around. The hotel staff also need to understand what "do not disturb" means. I had 3 different staff ring the doorbell and actually come into the room with the button clearly lit that I didn't want to be disturbed. Annoying.

Room Tip: Room facing out (I.e., not facing the courtyard)

My husband and I stayed here for a few nights in November 2012. The staff were friendly and eager to help. The hotel had a great atmosphere.

Our room was nice - spacious, clean and modern. It was also very quiet. The bed was king-sized and extremely comfortable. The bathroom had recently been renovated and had a big shower with a rainfall shower-head and a separate over-sized bath.

The breakfast was excellent, one of the best that I have seen in a 5-star city hotel. Good quality food and plenty of choices for both healthy and splurge options. The hospitality staff were attentive and had been well trained. My only criticism is that on Sunday morning the restaurant just simply did not have enough tables for all the hotel's guests. Fortunately this did not effect us, but we were sitting near the restaurant's entrance and could see that the staff were repeatedly turning away guests as there were no free tables.

We had a lovely pre-theatre drink at "Bar 59". There was a big selection of drinks and good quality cocktails. The bar had a nice atmosphere. We had a late night meal at the "Pega" which was also good quality.

The location is excellent, right in the heart of Düsseldorf's shopping district and a short walk to the old town area. I have traveled to Düsseldorf on many occasions and this hotel is by far the best choice in Düsseldorf. Service, food and beverage all of a high standard. Highly recommend.

Excellent hotel stayed 4 nights in Nov 2012. Very close to the old town, tower and the shopping district. Room was excellent only let down was the restaurant which was very expensive and we had a very poor meal. We ate in local restaurants close by. The hotel does not have its own pool but uses the fitness centre next door but there is a daily charge!! Some websites suggest that they have a pool.

Room Tip: higher up the better away from the road noise

Location, location, location... just a great hotel with excellent and friendly service. The staff is about as professional as any I have encountered world wide. The Concierge was helpful and went out of his way to make sure we were satisfied. The hotel is in the middle of Dusseldorf's shopping district and a10 minute walk from the old town area of the city.....

Stayed 4 nights on business trip. Very new and clean. Comfortable rooms and a very
nice buffet breakfast ( these are never cheap in Europe ) The staff was very nice and
helpful. The front desk was very helpful and answered all questions. The Concierge
staff was outstanding and their recommendations for restaurants could not have been
better. Just a wonderful stay.

Room Tip: Deluxe rooms are on the highest floors and may be quieter, but they are not larger.
