“Great Hotel and priced correctly”

Good hotel at a good price with helpful staff. Within walking distance of the train station. Near enough to the Altstadt to walk. Very good breakfast. Nice room with excellent beds and good bathroom+ a good shower. Plenty of good places around to grab a bite and plenty of good shopping as well

Room Tip: Non-smokers: make sure you specify a non-smoking room

This hotel was very nice and the price was the least expensive on our seven city tour. It has spacious rooms with air conditioning and a large bathroom with a full bathtub.
The breakfast was pretty good and was included in the price of the room. The only down side was the WiFi was not really working in the room. To access it you had to go to the lobby (which is very comfortable).
They also provide a newspaper in English in the lobby for the guests. The TV also had several stations that were in English.
It is centrally located and very near the metro station. The rooms were quiet and we had a very pleasant stay here. I would definitely go back to this hotel when I next return to Dusseldorf.

Room Tip: All of the rooms were good.

Stayed at this hotel on a business trip for 2 days. The location is decent. 10-15 minutes walk to the old town of Dusseldorf and the longest bar in the world. Highlight is the helpful staff. It had a decent breakfast and nice cosy room

I stayed at Hotel Mitte recently with my brother. We stayed for 3 nights which is more than enough time to explore the lovely city of Dusseldorf. We also went to Cologne which is only a 25 minute train journey away.
Like many other guest reviews, we found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. They all spoke good English too which was great because neither of us speaks any German. We had 2 twin rooms for single use on the 4th floor at the front of the hotel overlooking a very busy main road. I was worried about traffic noise but with the windows shut at night and the air conditioning on, there were no problems. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was perfectly adequate and, thankfully, included in the price.
We had free public transport passes, though the Old Town and shops are very close by, so you don't really need it. The railway station is a 10 minute walk away.
If you return to Dusseldorf airport from the city by train, make sure that you catch the train that actually takes you to the terminal. We had to catch the Skytrain to the terminal from the place where we alighted from the train with a huge crowd of people all jostling for space and seats.
The journey from the airport to the city train station costs 2 euros 43 cents.

Room Tip: 4th floor rooms may be quieter as they are higher, but you will need to close the windows at night i...

Stayed here a couple of times with my girlfriend. We like to go to Düsseldorf once every few months to have a "party" weekend and this hotel is one of the best in town to stay if you're planning to do the same. At the checkin you get a "free" ticket to use the Düsseldorf public transport so you can get the tram to the Düsseldorf train station and from there you can take the metro to the Altstadt (all with the Düsseldorf mitte ticket!). Once you're finished partying you can take the metro back to the train station, and from the train station you take the tram back to the hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and if you pay a little more you can get a quite nice room with a late checkout. If you're looking for a nice place to rest after a night of Düsseldorf, this is the place to be!

We stayed two nights, one at the beginning of our trip and one at the end. Our first room was a "superior" double. It was spacious and nicely decorated. Our second room (#101) was half the price, but oddly shaped and rather cramped. For the price we paid, the hotel is an average value.

We chose the hotel because it was close to the train station. The area between the hotel and the train station seems a bit sketchy. But the area between the hotel and the Rhine is lovely: many parks, the modern art museum's three locations, the KO shopping district, and lots more.

The staff was helpful. The common area/lounge is rather small. Our rate did not include breakfast, which was the typical selection of hot and cold items. The breakfast room was attractive. We appreciated the free WiFi and the vouchers for public transportation.
