Stayed here for two nights 21-22 Aug, nice, clean hotel. 10 - 15 min walk to the main centre.
It was 30c and the air conditioning didn't work in any room. This was a major let down as everything else was pretty good.

Very nice location close to the main shopping area. Smallish room, paid internet (although 8€/day is a decent price) and bathroom without bath is are a small dissappointment. Staff is friendly and helpful, rooms are 'fresh' and clean and absolutely no noise in the rooms totally make up for it! Great stay!

Hotel is very conveniently located with good value parking (13 euros per day). Staff were friendly and faciltiies were generally good (unlike others we had free Wifi!) but bottled water should be provided as standard. The lack of AC was a real problem as it was 27 degrees and very humid. We had to use free standing AC machine which gave out lots of heat. Putting the tube out the window was self defeating so we had to put it into the bathroom which ended up like a sauna. For food and convivial drinks do try "Rosies Bar" across the road which is very good.

Decent sized room. Spotlessly clean with modern fittings both in the bedroom and bathroom. Nicely stocked and reasonably priced minibar too. Great location, just a 10 minute walk to Altstadt and the main shopping street. Also convenient to the main train station. Staff were efficient and friendly.

We had a big party in Dusseldorf and could stay in hotel - After the party we had a very short night since the curtains are very thin and the room was very light in the early morning.
We had the A/C on but still the room was very hot.

I would not recommend this hotel.

We arrived by train and took a cab at 7 euros but realised how easy it was to use the tram and used this on departing. Checking experience was "officious" - quick and helpful but no smile - however when we walked into our allocated room it reeked of smoke even when we had requested non smoking. Back to reception they offered the only available non smoking room which was extremely small so we refused that too. (We were staying 3 nights with 2 cases.) Our only option was to pay additional 50 euro per night for a suite (reduced from 75 due to our dilemma). I would have walked out at this point but had prepaid to get a good rate so was stuck with the upgrade. So our rate was 176 euro per night. Not happy.

If I put this behind me the hotel is well located to walk to the old town, the Rhine and the good shopping streets. The room itself was clean and comfy - I have to say huge but we were in a suite after all. The foyer is spacious and welcoming with lots of couches. We didn't use the bar or dining as the weather was perfect and we prefer to get out and enjoy the area.

The wifi is ridiculously expensive in house and the free in foyer would not work on my iPad or partners iPhone even with staff assistance. I ended up buying 24 hours online to do the necessary business. Not happy - again.

So if you get a standard room at a standard rate and don't care about wifi then this hotel is recommended.

Very good central location within walking distance of Königsallé and the Rhein river. Very friendly, professional and helpful staff, good breakfast, modern and clean and quiet room, but too small to my liking, especially when classed as "twin bed for single occupancy". Two people in that room would not work with two suitcases.
