Stayed here overnight for as I work in Dusseldorf and live quite far away.
Excellent Value, rooms are clean and warm, shower works well.

Reception staff was friendly and spoke English.

Would stay here again.

Hotel is well located close to the 707 and 708 stops so easy access to the Media hafen and close to the Train Station.

We stayed in this hotel recently.. It has funny shaped rooms full of dust.. When you go up the stairs you see linnens and dirty towels all over the floor in front of the stairs you have ti jump over them.. At check in we specifically asked for the wifi code as we needed Internet for business.. We were put in a room on the 2nd floor where we couldn't pick up any wifi signal, receptionist then told us the connection on the second floor is not very good... When we wanted to change the room to a room on the 1st floor, receptionist was very rude and started pulling faces as we used the bed in our room.. No apology or assistance offered for the room move and yet we were called liars as the receptionist thought the previous room was clean otherwise we wouldn't have got a new room!!! (Even though we only used the bad and told him that at the time) even if what he claimed was true customers should never be treated this way.. For the hotel management I didn't catch the name but this receptionist was on duty in the afternoon of 28th! He definitely needs to go on a customer service course.. This is from somebody who has been in the hotel industry for over 10 years...

From the moment we arrived until our reluctant departure 4 days later, we were treated like family guests. All the staff from front desk, the bar, the restaurant and housekeeping were impeccable with their service and welcome. A beautiful and stylishly old hotel with old world values. Rare these days. Our room was spacious and very clean. Both the food and drinks were exceptional. It was a quiet time of year but none of the staff appeared bored. Well done on magnificent management! We will certainly recommend this hotel in Australia.

The hotel is in a good location about 15 minutes walk from the main station and very easy to find. It is also within 30 minutes walk of the rhine and the old town. It is clean, neat and the rooms were ideal for a city weekend visit. Nice bathroom. Breakfast was included and was a very good basic continental breakfast with plenty of choice. The staff were friendly and helpful. Very good value for money

Room Tip: The rooms at the front of the hotel were quieter as they had a generator going all night at the back...

the hotel it is a quiet area, but walking distance to the city center. looks a little to old but for the price that i payed hard to get a better deal.
the rooms are nice and clean, 24 hours front desk, they have a elevator if you have a lot of luggage. For 7 euro's u can park in a secure car park just in front of the hotel

We booked this Hotel for three nights and have to say it was fine for the money paid. Central location and quite quiet. Our room was on the first floor and easily accessible via the lift or stairs. decor a bit tired but the basic requirements were well met. Great shower in the small and spotless bathroom with nice towels and good quality soap products etc. We asked for a second Pillow each which was taken care of with a warm smile from the super friendly staff. Any questions we had were quickly and expertly answered. This in fact saved us a fair deal of money.

Breakfast suited us just fine also and lo and behold we were served great tea. Amazing. Most times we try this abroad the tea is undrinkable. Fresh scrambled eggs, sausages, e as the std continental fare was very good. Great bread rolls freshly baked went down very well. Good for a 3 star Hotel.

We never tested the bar facilities, it was small and lacking in any atmosphere and empty of an persons any time we checked. We found a couple of bottles of fresh water in the room fridge which turned out to be a freebie... Most welcome in the non air cond room. A good strong electric fan took care of the temp' issues though.

We would use this little Hotel again. Great staff and all you need for a visit to this great City.

The hotel has rather good location to walk to the center but in silent place with nice view over square from some rooms. Room is basic, so is the breakfast. The furniture is old - hotel needs rennovation and looks old-fashioned. Still rather clean. Problematic parking. Might be good choice for 1 night due to price.
