Wyndham Garden Duesseldorf City Centre Koenigsallee

Very nice location 10 mins to city center and same 10 mins to central station. Quiet part of city, noone disturbs you during night. Nice price. Helpful reception. Free soft drinks for no-smokers. Useful ironing device in room and electric kettle. But 18 euro for breakfast is too much. Old building, small elevator. Rooms is quite old as well, floor in my room was quite unclean.

Good, clean, but slightly outdated business hotel. Good location in the city centre of Dusseldorf without too much noice bleeding in from outside. Not the prettiest of hotels, but service is good. Good value for money.

I am a businesswoman and I stayed here alone for work purposes. As I work in the fashion trade the location was very good - 10 mins walk to Konigsallee and about 15 mins walk to the subway.
Staff were lovely, helpful and friendly, I couldn't fault them. The room was modern, new and very clean with a bathtub and shower over (I always prefer a bathtub for my sore feet lol!)
There is no charge for the minibar (no alcohol but I appreciated the soft drinks) and there is also tea/coffee making in the room. If you wish to drink alcohol there is a vending machine down the hall. There was a large flatscreen TV which I didn't watch. Comfortable bed, ample wooden clothing hangers, lots of mirrors and everything I would expect from a brand such as Sheraton.
I had the breakfast which was good, but at 15 euros quite expensive, if I stayed there again, I think I'd skip this and visit a cafe.
My only criticism is that the free wifi internet did not work, I could not get a log-on screen on either my tablet or phone. Was too tired to go downstairs and try to sort it out.
I would stay here again, though, definitely!

Stayed for concert at Espirit arena. Room small but very clean. Staff very helpful in giving directions and all were friendly. Good location and only short walk to the old town which is great place to eat and have a few beers by the Rhine. Prefer Cologne but Dusseldorf nice place to visit and this is a good hotel that is good value for money

Stayed Here to see semi final of women's world cup. City was crowded, so despite negative reviews stayed here. The hotel is perfectly fine, but nothing special. Rooms and bathroom are quite small, but clean. The criticism of carpets seemed harsh and not warranted. Some of the staff were excellent and others appeared put out if you asked for any assistance. Breakfast is over priced for what you get. Go around the corner for great coffee and pastries. It is fine for a night or two.

We stay there several times per year; be that Christmas, Carneval or just a summer weekend visiting friends and relatives. We appreciate the personal touch. Since we are frequent guests to this property and hold the SPG platinum card, we always get nice rooms. This hotel combines everything you need: central location, good service, well maintained clean standard accommodation. Breakfast is above average for this category; rooms are clean and functional. The hotel in the old-town comprises more than one rather elderly buildling, refurbished, being the reason why some rooms are bigger than others. Some have balcony, some don't. The only area for improvement would be a solution for parking rather than having to go further down Luisenstrasse to the public parking. We will certainly remain on the hotel's frequent guest list.

We stayed at the Four Points Düsseldorf during Eurovision Song Contest in May for 5 nights using our Starwood points.

Basically, the hotel is a solid 3* by American standards.
The rooms are small but efficient with very small restrooms.

That being said, the hotel has significant extras that added a lot to our stay and elevated our experience there:
* The hotel has an arrangement with a very close by gym (Fitness First) that allows a
daily pass for only 6Euros.
The gym is a full service gym and is much more than a hotel gym (towel service is
included in the price of the pass).
* Free mini bar that includes 2 bottles of water, coke and orange juice.
Yes, free. And they will replenish the mini bar daily.
* Free wi-fi.
That was a real treat. You just need to get a new user name and password on a daily
basis.

Location wise, the hotel is a stone throw away from famous Konigsallee.
Generally speaking, Düsseldorf is a walking distance city and the hotel's location is very convenient to all places of interest.

All-in-all, what made our stay at the Four Points Düsseldorf was the front desk team.
They are a kind, courteous and friendly group of people.
Ms. Christiane Emam and Ms. S. Radikte were especially helpful in giving good information of nearby restaurants and bars.

Some tips:
* Ni Na Wa is an excellent sushi place (10 minutes walk from the hotel). They also have
a noddle joint a cross the street.
Prices are reasonable especially if you consider how weak the Dollar is against the
Euro.
* Most businesses work with cash only!
Strangely enough, that includes restaurants and bars.
You should be prepared with enough cash in advance as withdrawals carry a hefty
fee over the exchange rate.
* WineKomissar is a great wine bar in side the Ko Gallery.
Sadly, they carry no German wines but their Italian and Austrian selections are very
good. They also offer a cheese and meat plates that make them a cool place for a light
lunch.
* For German wines don't miss Movenpick wine store on Hertzogstrasse (short walk
away from the hotel).
The selection is wide and the prices are ridiculously low in comparison to the US.
