This restaurant is a jewel in Düsseldorf !! It apparently is open for 30+ years, and the original owners are still running it. I went there on a Sunday night, and once you get through the entrance door, you feel like entering someones Home. Very cozy and personal. There are not many tables, but this evening I got lucky to get a seat. The Menu features great rustic German cuisine, and you should go with an empty stomache, as you'll get a lot of food for approx. 12 EURO. I tried their Pork Tenderloin, which was cooked to perfection, with a mushroom sauce, which was incredibly delicious. I was quite surprised when the entree came, as it was served in a real medium size iron frying pan !!! Very unique. The salad at the side was fresh, and the dressing not too overpowering. They got a very good local beer on tap, called " Füchschen". You have to try it !!!
