A friend and I stayed in this hotel for one night on our way through Dusseldorf and had a very positive experience. The rooms were very clean, modern, and comfortable, with all the amenities one would expect from a modern hotel. The size of the room was also quite comfortable.

My only negative comment is to do with the hotel restaurant, which I would suggest skipping. Since we arrived too late to go out for dinner we ended up eating in the hotel and were less than impressed. The food was beautifully prepared, but only came in two flavors: bland or over-salted.

I would definitely recommend the hotel, but find somewhere else to eat.

Spent a weekend to see the xmas markets and wanted a nice hotel to make the break special as it was a suprise birthday present. I was certainly not disappointed with this hotel.

The room was superb and a bit quirky which made a change from regular 4 * hotels. It was spacious and the bathroom was larger than normal with lots of toiletries provided. The staff who service the room ,even hung up shirts and folded clothes that were left on the side.

Location of the hotel is great, just 5/10 min stroll into the centre, or there is a metro station 50m away for easy connectivity. We went to Koln for the day.

One word of caution for any one not familiar with the culture in Germany, the sauna and steam room, which were excellent by the way are mixed gender and no-one was wearing any costumes. Whilst not being prudish, we were slightly suprised that there was no warning for this, as in England, this would not the norm to find naked people displaying all in their glory in a hotel sauna.

But all in all a great hotel and definately on my top list of hotels to stay in.

Hotel was very good, just opened, nice lounge bar, good breakfast buffet. Staff was very friendly and helpfull. Although the beds were very comfortable, we didn't sleep that good, because it was very very hot in the room, even with the heating switched off, and the air in the room was very dry.

This is a new hotel at entrance to a large park. The rooms are nice and modern with the amenities you'd expect in a hotel of this price. The front desk staff spoke the least English of any business hotel I have stayed at in Germany and we had trouble getting both the rate established, the number of people in the room, and whether breakfast was included for one or two people. In the end they added 20 euros a day to the bill for the second breakfast, but they did not tell us they were doing this until our last day. Also they have no computers for their business center yet.
All in all a good hotel and a great location, but eat elsewhere and hope you don't have to deal with the front desk staff.
Be sure to ask for a room away from the main street as trolley runs all night and is noisy.
