“One of the hidden champions of Duesseldorf”
Reviewed September 23, 2011

Just to make a long story short:
A very cool location - could be either in Berlin or London (but it is unique). And therefor the opposite to typical "posh Duesseldorf" locations.
The food was delicious (excellent value for money). The atmosphere was vibrant (a mix of "sound and smell of the kitchen" and bar/restaurant life. The multi-cultured girlies behind the bar and in the service area were really smart - each handle seated. Great compliment to them!!!

Definitely a highlight in Germany!

P.S. the nightcap should be taken at Robert's bar called "Ellington" which is situated in the red-light district of Duesseldorf. At next morning then the hangover could be treated in "Café Muggel" (in the nice middle-class area called Ober-Kassel). The coffee is excellent and a wide choice of tasty breakfast.

N-joy/Viel Spass!

“one of the best secrets of Dusseldorf”
Reviewed July 26, 2011

Great atmosphere and food. The crown its from 18 till 60 but trendy, basically there are no bookings and you can seat where ever is free. The right place to start a weekend night, relaxed and enjoy the music food wine and the other Customers.
Usually I dont mind to go there alone because you always find someone to talk with during the dinner SOCIALISE its the word:)

“Fabulous food, good wines, nice service - and space to leave the car”
Reviewed July 16, 2010

The atmosphere is that of a bar (not a restaurant) - creative, cool, - not cold and designed. It's located in a former industrial area that is in the process of being converted into a trendy new residential area. The menu is small (maybe 20 dished, approx.) but everything is creative and comes in a very high quality. The salads are superb! In summer, there are additional tables outside. That comes very handy, as the place is always packed. Guests and personnel always seem in a good mood. Probably thanks to the also short but very good wine card ;-)
