This was booked on my behalf by our regional office in Dortmund.

Located on a busy main road so ask to be located at the rear.

Plenty of parking in the front and very warm welcome from the front desk. Fast and efficient
booking and reasonably priced.

Room was clean and had a good sized bathroom with powerful shower. A little dated, but functioned well. Bed good sized but few covers, so ask for more on arrival if cold outside as heating is a bit old fashioned.

Great restaurant downstairs with excellent service, happy staff and tasty food. Breakfast good too, with plenty of space and places to sit. Rustic dining room, not modern.

Only complaint is the noise in the corridors due to the hard floor and you can hear most doors closing. There is also a door to every corridor off the main landing my particular one was extremely noisy.

Otherwise, good stay and would return.

Room tip: Leave early or stay late as main road is busy and there is queuing outside.

The Hotel itself was on a very busy road but the room we had room 226 was not noisey it was quite warm in the room but unlike may hotels in England we were able to open the window fully. Very comfortable bed but could not say the same for the pillow (only one) I am sure they would have brought us another but it was late at night and we were very tired (not another one in a cupboard and although a double bed had two single douvet covers which I did not like on a double bed and like many german hotels no coffee or tea making facilities but of course a mini bar which you pay for! The ensuite was very clean and nicely equipped (no bath). Breakfast I thought was very good and they did serve us at 7.15pm. The evening meal was very good starters main course and pudding which was freshly cooked and the staff very attentive. All in all although I was not paying and I know it was not one of the better hotels in Dortmund I did not have any major gripes or issues

A very good hotel with easy access to Airport and Main town via tram.

The Airconditioning was not working and the rooms were very warm. You could not open the windows as the Hotel is on the main 6 lane carriageway and was extremely noisey!

The room brochure said you can order Tea or Coffee 24 hrs a day, but when we ordered coffee in the afternoon in the foyer we were charged for it. We were then informed that if you wanted the 24hr service, they would supply you with a kettle and drinks which you can make yourself. Make sure you ask for the kettle and drinks on arrival!

The staff were excellent and so was the food. There are several good restuarants in the area, and I would reccomend the Haus Nussbaum in Nussbaum Veg (Balkan) and the Haus Grube (Traditional) on the Brakler Hellveg.

This Hotel was picked as it was the nearest to friends house.
