Unfortunately could not get tour of stadium as only available at weekends and if pre booked but managed to view 2 stands through a gate. However FC KOLN club shop selling a wide range of merchandise was open and is well worth a visit for any football fan.Stadium is on outskirts of city but s-bahn tram stops directly outside,we travelled direct from Neumarket in city centre.

The stadium was ok, beer staff were extremely rude and unhelpful as were the security staff. However Bruce was totally brilliant.

I flew from the USA to see Springsteen here. They published a diagram showing two sections of floor tickets; "Stehplatz, front of stage" and "Inneraum, Stehplatz". Front of stage is right up against the stage and covers perhaps the first 15% of the floor. Inneraum is behind it and clearly separated from it. This front of stage is much more desireable if you want to be close to the band. They charge more for the Front of Stage seats Frankfurt had the same setup at Commerzbank Arena and the actual setup matched the diagram.

When we arrived, there were 3 sections, not two. They said we don't care if you have Front of Stage tickets and put us in the second section, far, far back fron the stage and obviously way into the section listed as Inneraum.

I and many thousands of others did not get what we paid for and in many cases traveled thousands of miles for. Are there class action suits in Germany? If any German lawyers are reading this, you could have one to pursue.

I've only been 2 times to the stadium, each time there was a lack of atmosphere and a crush near the ground. While the fans were pleasant on the whole, there seemed to be a general problem with police than belied the small number who were there. The only positive point is that there is good food available in the stadium.

Friendly and funny people there at the stadium.
Great audience, and good Kölsch.
Very good atmosphere, not only before the game when all the people are singing and waving with their scarf.
