A delightful hotel to stay in. The rooms have everything you need, I shared a bathroom and found everything in perfect order. Clean, comfortable, neat and welcoming.

Excellent value and a nice breakfast served by the family who runs the hotel.

I heartily recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: There is no lift so if you are mobily impaired ask the right questions

Stayed here for 3 nights in December with a friend, we each had a single room. The place was clean, comfortable, quiet and warm. Whilst the rooms were not large we felt for the funds we expended the place was reasonable. The staff were friendly and breakfasts were filling. WiFi was available and each room had a TV. The location was a bit too distant from the station for us, elderly ladies with large bags, otherwise the hotel was fine.

Second time staying here...ariived after 8 and picked up key as per hotel instructions.Room 12 on top floor with the shared bathroom next door.As other reviews state the rooms are not massive ,but for sleeping in the bed was comfy and there was a washbasin in the room.Free WIFI is a big plus as other bigger hotels do charge.Breakfast was from 7 till 10 and was a plate of meats and cheeses with rolls and bread, and jams and a nice boiled egg if you so wished.
The hotel is a ten minute walk from the station and there is a nice local bar opposite which serves Kolsch.
Would definately stay here again and would recommend to anyone wanting a budget hotel which is clean and tidy.

This is a small hotel in the heart of the beautiful city of Cologne.
Cozy, clean and quiet rooms...albeit small in comparison to rooms at American hotels.

These are not 5 star accomodations but each time I have stayed here I have been treated very well by staff. In fact, when we left for Holland for 4 days, they allowed me to leave my bags there until we returned. Of course I took them up on that since I would be returning to the hotel to stay a few more days before I went back home.

Breakfast is wonderful...include it with your stay.
The location is excellent. Just a short 5 minute walk to the train station, to the Koelner dom, and all the shopping you can imagine!

Room Tip: There are no elevators in this hotel, request a room closest to the first floor!

We are not talking five-star hotel here. The reception isn't always staffed, there is no lift and stairs are steep. My room had toilet and shower down the corridor; I'm not sure whether they are all like that, but certainly quite a few are. By its own standards, however, it is very good and you don't feel like a down and out staying in this budget establishment. The room is clean and comfortable and is a reasonable size. The staff (owners) are friendly and the breakfast is good. In three nights stay (and two previous one-night stays) I only once found the bathroom occupied when I wanted it.

If I really wanted I could find some things to criticise but the only one I'll mention is that the timer switches on the lights go out quite quickly and they don't then light up so you can see them in the dark.

I like this place and it seems that they even get some business people who, presumably, are not paying their own bills. I think that shows it is a much more respectable establishment than your average budget stopover.

This hotel looks like a small apartment without any elevators! The room was also very small, but it was clean and nice. It seems the hotel is being run by a family, and they do their best to provide you as much as they can. The breakfast is also good, but is in the size of a small ordinary hotel. You will be given they key of your room and the key of the hotel, because the reception is not always there.

Room Tip: Try to choose a room which is inside the aisle and not in the staircase.

This is a lovely little B and B in Koln. It is walking distance to the cathedral and all the main attractions. My room was small, but clean, as was the shared bathroom. My only real complaint was that the rooms weren't very soundproof, and since mine was next to the bathroom I did get woken up a few times, especially if there was talking in the hallway. Breakfast was great, and the price is definitely reasonable.
