Pathpoint is located in an old church, and has both a charm and ample space that few hostels can compete with. I really liked the area and would want to give it 5/5,if it wasn't for three things:
Reception wasn't particularly nice - I had the joy of talking to two different receptionists during my five day stay. Now, I will not force service people to smile for me, but they did not provide me with a hello or goodbye, no information about my stay, and seemed like they couldn't get me off their case quick enough, so much so that they kept cutting me off.
Really warm - the dorms had no air-conditioning or fans. I know this is a common issue, but beware still.
You have to bring and put on your own bedlinens - also not the worst thing in the world, except in a room with 7 other people on searing heat I was the only one who did and I can't say that's hygienic.
All in all, this place has a lot of potential, but I don't think I'll be coming back to see if it learns to live up to it.More
