This hotel didn't disappoint us. The room was spacious for European standard. It's with full amenities and clean. The room looks brand new and the bathroom was spacious as well. The staffs were polite and the service was good.

The city center (DOM area) can be reached by 15 mins walk or 5 mins with tram. The tram station is just a few minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel is at a very good location. A few mins walk you will reach the old part of the city with nice restaurants. Walk further down will be the DOM and the rest of other sight seeings.

We were very satisfied with our stay and will come back again.

Quiet location with a few good restaurants in easy walking distance; rooms are split between main bulding & dependance across the street.
Friendly & competent staff.
Large rooms with good bathroom, bed & quite large TV set.
Luckily I got an upgrade, so I had a Tassimo coffee maker in the room as well.
Negative is the need to pay for internet (17EUR /day per device).
Restaurant was OK for lunch with a-la-carte menu as well as buffet; didn't go there for dinner or breakfast.
Bar is nice but closed already at midnight - 1am would have suited our work/sleep pattern better.

Stayed here for a weekend city break last year. Staff were lovely - willing to take the time to recommend local specialities, such as beer with banana juice! Hotel and room was very clean. The only thing I would say is that coming from Scotland I found the rooms very warm and the cleaners kept closing the windows (probably for some good reason but it made the heat uncomfortable!). The coffee machines in the room were a pleasant surprise. Good location, quiet part of town but a short walk to the main city. I would stay here again if I am ever in Cologne.

We went by coach to Cologne at Easter for the holidays. When we arrived it was nice for 2 members of staff to come out and greet us who was not only helpful but spoke excellent English and so friendly, this was a good start to the holiday. The hotel was convenient for all the shops with about 10-20 mins of walking or taxi's and bus services close by. The room I had was the bed was close to the wall so in tiurning opver it was difficult as it was only a single room. It was small but nicely decorated and clean, with a t.v., fridge, and shower ensuite room. The only complaint here was the towels to conserve on water there is a notice to piut the towels on the floor if you want them laundered or hang on the towel rails if you want to use them. So as only stayed there for 3 nights I put mine on the towel rails, the flannel was on the sink. But everyday when I came back to the room the towels had all gone and taken by the chambermaid. I had to ask at the reception for more towels as she had taken the clean pile too. The freception ohoned the supervisor and other guests had the same with this one chambermaid and the towels all taken. If we left the towels on the floor theyu was left, she had done it the wrong way round so confused in what she should be doing. So a shortage on towels for us! The meals being a package tour was budgeted and was not much in content. The first night I had assked for a vegetarian meal in which was not on the menu but got a canniloni with salad. The next night was a chicken breast in sauces very nice and plenty of it with a sweet. But the 3rd night was a very light meal with salad and our party was all left hungry and unfinished plates as it was not nice at all. The breakfasts was really good with a good choice of English Breakfasts and contiinental too. Again the staff so friendly and helpful always! The hotel was in a very quiet road and had 2 buildings one for the rooms with 6 floors the other side of the road the reception and restuarants, and bars and suana, swimming pools, and dance halls, etc. It was a very relaxing break and would go back again but the meals would have to be improved as we was all hungry anmd had to go to a another restuarant outside to eat as left too hungry in the hotel in which cost us a lot more in buying out in the evenings. But of course we was all on a budhet. But a really comfortable night and good hotel and kept so clean! The cathedral is half an hours walk away and near the Rhine and ouside the main railway station with a good shopping centre. We went on a trip to the chocolate factory of LINDT chocolates and free samples to buy in the shop too. You can see how these are all made and interesting for young children as there is some games to educate them on the cocoa bean and how it is grown. You need 4 hours to go round to see everything but only costs 6 euros to enter and concessions too. There is a road train stops outside that takes you around the city centre for 5 euros or a yellow taxi service, and an open topped bus and close to bus stops ouside to take you around the city too. There are cruises up the Rhine with commentaries. This city was badly bombed diuring the war and a new part of the city and old part to see the cathedral did not get hit by the bombs and the best cathedral I have ever seen and woth a visit too.

Good quality hotel with very spacious room, nice bath rooms. Breakfast buffet is excellent. Location is conveniently two hundred meters from the U-bahn that takes you to city center in less than 5 minutes. Hotel has a nice pool, perfect for a morning swim.

We recently stayed at Park Inn, Cologne Belfortstrasse, as part of a larger holiday through Germany and Austria. We stayed for four nights and were really happy with our choice. We were travelling with our dog, who was very warmly received. The service was outstanding. We were upgraded on arrival and the staff were really helpful. The rooms were very nice and newly refurbished. Not large rooms, but sufficient size. The location was perfect for us, close to a park and transport. Its also only a short 15 minute walk (or 5 minute train) to the Dom and the main attractions. Would certainly stay here again if we were to return and strongly recommend to anyone else.
