Owner description: This giant Gothic cathedral, which until its completion in 1880 had been under construction for over 500 years, is perhaps Germany's most famous religious structure and includes two huge towers that serve as the defining symbol of Cologne's skyline.

Majestic church in the center of Cologne. It's a reference point for who doesn't know very well the city and street as well. It seems be the most big around Europe. For sure is one of more striking

When you come from New Zealand with most of it's history only 250 years and come and see a building that has been created over 600 years and without modern equipment, it truly stretches the mind. Also that the Catholic Church allows people to freely access the building is to be applauded. We saw modern technology being used to ensure the future viability of the structure and that only emphasised the magnificent work of the craftsmen of the past. Spiritually it is also uplifting . .

This is an amazing building. Be sure to go inside. It will take your breath away. The ceilings are so high and the windows and architecture are wonderful.

Awesome!!! The depth of history is unbelievable. The relic of the three kings is beautiful and the story of how it came to Cologne and made Cologne a site of massive Pilgrimage in the Medieval times and today is fascinating. A must see.
