This was clearly the place to be in the 1980s, when Bonn was a global capital and the city was full of dignitaries. The hotel has survived, and even appears to be thriving, but is a bit worn around the edges. No real complaints, other than that the doors don't have sturdy locks (so bring a doorstop) and room service forgot my order on two occasions in two weeks. The hotel is extremely close to the city centre and the central train station, but ask for a quiet room on account of the proximity to the tracks.
