I was on my way from Munich to Amsterdam, visiting a friend in Bielefeld. He took me out to this farm house restaurant.
What then happened was absolutely the best.
A pumpkin creme soup, followed by a herb risotto with and orange butter sauce and fried shrimp. What a strange composition, but once you had it, you realize that this is a fantastic tremolo on your tongue.
As maincourse I had salmon over noodles and wok veggies. An interesting asian touch.
The kitchen is suposed to be Westphalian, what ever that is, but the influence of touches from France, the Orient and also Italy are making this food "out of this world".
I talked to the chef and owner Holger Busch. He and his wife are the creaters of this wonderful food.
Too bad, that I am not more often in Bielefeld. But next time I will go again. ( They are closed on Tuesdays!!)
