I went here after an 4h train ride and a 4h workshop with a client, so one could say that I was pretty tens when going. The pool were nice, especially the bubbly ones. Even so I prefer the jacuzzi warmer, it wasn't unpleasant and might be better in term of health.
The price for 2.5 hours seemed ok, even so I'd prefer non timed options. Unfortunately no treatment was available when I arrived but I might consider one in the future.

very nice and relaxing. Definitely worth the money, 11 euros for 2.5 hours. We didn't have treatment but would consider in the future.

I was expecting something a little larger and with more features (we used to live nearby the Therme in Bad Worishofen in Bavaria which is amazing), so was very slightly disappointed but it was still a very pleasant visit.
The pools could have been a bit warmer but the different bubble jets, jacuzzi etc were really nice after a long day of walking around the city.
Would probably go back if we were in the area but certainly not the best baths I have ever been to.

This was our fist visit to the thermal baths in Cologne and we were very pleased with the experience. The thermal baths is located about 5 minutes from our Novotel (by car). Parking is 2.50 EUR (flat fee) in the secure underground parking of the facility. You can even check how many visitors are at the facility (i.e., how crowded the facility is) in “real-time” via their website. Pretty cool feature!

This facility is modern and well-maintained. You get a wristband with a chip that is used as an in-house credit card. You use this wristband w/chip to check out the lockers (small for valuables, large for clothing). To save money, make sure to bring your own bath towel, bathrobe, and non-slip rubber flip flops. This wristband is used for all charges, including spa wellness services, drinks, meals, snacks, souvenirs, etc. You don’t pay for anything until you leave.

The facility is very clean as the staff is constantly cleaning all the areas. And I mean constantly. As the saying goes, cleanliness is next to Godliness and this is certainly true here! Guests here are primarily adults; this makes it ideal for rest and relaxation without unnecessary distractions/noise.

The indoor and outdoor thermal pools are connected and are well-heated, nice and large. Plenty of places to relax under the waterfalls or around the water without feeling crowded in. Plenty of loungers available, indoors and outdoors, on different levels of the facility. We really enjoyed the circular thermal “current” pool which is like floating around fast in water rapids! Of course, one can spend hours in the thermal baths but for ultimate rest and relaxation, the textile-free (nude) sauna is the best.

The sauna area is located upstairs and is totally separate from the thermal baths area. You must swipe your wristband with chip in order to enter the sauna premises. This is good because there’s a very clear distinction and avoids any and all confusion. This also prevents people from gawking or trying to have a look. There are over a dozen different saunas to choose from and all were of good size and well-maintained. A couple of the saunas were actually quite large, larger than any we’ve been to before. Plenty of steam baths including Turkish hamams (both large room and cozy individual hamams) as well, both indoor and outdoor, so you are totally spoilt for choice! There are lots of well-designed showers both indoors and outdoors, well-placed. We particularly liked the rock and stone showers outside as well as the outdoor fireplace rest area. There are also cozy beach cabanas where you can just chill out. We really enjoyed the lake sauna as well, a heated thermal pool where you can just lounge around and relax. And of course, the darkened indoor pool with music playing underwater and soothing light show to help you relax even more. After a few hours here, it’s really difficult to leave!

The only minuses we can mention is the lack of instructions in English - there are no instructions in English so first-time visitors might be confused. Thankfully, some of the staff speaks English which is helpful.

All in all, a most enjoyable visit and one that we’ll definitely repeat in the future. For those who are apprehensive or fearful about going "textile-free", don't worry. The sauna is a place of rest and relaxation and people here are just minding their own business and relaxing. Within minutes, you'll totally forget your inhibitions and feel comfortable in your own skin. Soon, you'll lose track of time, realize you've spent more time relaxing than you imagined and you'll even find it difficult to leave!

Head straight to the sauna area if you want a relaxing day out. No clothing but you soon get over it. Plenty of choices with the saunas but make sure you try the honey rub, fruit and salt options when they are offered. We also enjoyed the fresh baked bread from one of the saunas. There is a pool and a sunbathing area plus a couple of indoor relaxing areas. We spent an afternoon there and were completely relaxed on heading back to the hotel. It is an OK experience visiting the downstairs spa area but the highlight has to be the sauna part.
