Once again tripadvisor provided the inspiration for another restaurant to try out in town. As I had a hire car this trip it made the perfect excuse to try something outside the city center. About a 5 minute drive out of the center and this small eatery is easily found. I was quickly directed to a table and given menu. The menu had a good choice of Vietnamese, Thai, Sushi dishes and on this occasion I had decided to choose sushi. A new waitress came over that spoke very good english and asked if I needed explanation of the only german menu. I ordered salmon skin rolls and the inside out prawn tempura roll one of my favorites when having sushi.

Whilst I waited for the sushi rolls to be freshly made the waitress provided a bowl of prawn crackers to eat. The decoration is simple yet fresh and bright. Although there was a small wait on the sushi being prepared the end result was certainly worth it. Well presented and generous in quantity both the salmon skin rolls and the prawn tempura rolls were absolutely delicious. Certainly rivalling other more expensive sushi restaurants I have eaten at in other countries

After my main course I was presented with a complimentary vietnamese sesame ball and profuse apologies from the waitress due to the approximate 20 minute wait for my main. However I would be happy to have a small delay in receiving my food in future if it meant the same quality and care that was demonstrated at Misaki this evening was the result of that delay.

A fortune cookie and small complimentary shot of liqueur were also given to all diners

I'm sure I will return in the near future to try some of the other more traditional Chinese and Thai and Vietnamese dishes on the menu that also looked delicious.

Certainly recommended if you want a more informal and relaxed place to eat that delivers wonderful food. They also appear to do a take out food service.

Delightful family run restaurant specialising in Thai, Vietnamese and Japanese cuisine. Experience the warm, welcoming and attentive service provided by the family who run this superb establishment. The menu will leave you spoilt for choice, having to choose between the numerous dishes on offer.

My favourite dish is the battered chicken in red curry with fried rice, 62 (d). Having been to Thailand and experienced the amazing cuisine on offer in that wonderful country, and other 5-star restaurants around the world, I am happy to have found such a gem of a restaurant on my doorstep in Aachen!

Writing this review is making me hungry again, so much so that I am going to have dinner at Misaki tonight! :)

If you have the urge to have some good Asian cuisine, then dwell no more, you have your only choice...Go to Misaki, you will love it!

Everywhere in the world where I go I love to have a place close by that has amazing good food, a nice feel about it and a decent price so I never have to cook myself.

Visiting Germany for two month I go here all the time - like between two to five times in a week - and the food is just delicious. It is a small and fairly new restaurant, run but a Vietnamese family, very friendly and helpful.

Do not be fooled by diner like atmosphere, the food here belongs to the best you can get in Aachen and the surroundings, and I have been to about 35+ restaurants here so far ...

Try the number. 30a, some Vietnamese dish with noodles, salad and chicken, it is a pure 9/10, nearly on the same rating as a Phad Thai in Thailand on the street..

So if you love Asian food or good Sushi ... that is the place to go ..

Absolutely superb restaurant. The food is amazing and is consistently of a high quality. Everything is cooked freshly to order.

A family restaurant, the service is friendly, welcoming and efficient. Both German and English is spoken, the menu is in German and the owner will gladly translate it for you.

My favourite dish is the Thai Chicken with Fried Rice although the Sweet and Sour is a close second. The baked banana with honey and sesame is gorgeous and can be served with vanilla ice-cream....yum!

Superb value with main dishes starting at E6.50.

Yesterday was the 10th time I have eaten there in a month and I can't wait to go back tomorrow.
