While visiting Aachen for the first time recently, we went to explore the Three Countries Point. It's a truly unique experience to be able to stand in 3 countries at once with no guards, no fences, no fuss! It's a testament to international trust and cooperation! You can get there by bicycle, car, or a lovely hike. We chose to hike since the day was nice and we were in no hurry. The terrain is steep but the scenery is very beautiful, with various areas to look out over the surrounding countryside. If you take your time, anybody should be able to manage the climb. On the way up there are restaurants where you can stop for a refreshment, and at the top there are several activities, including a proper labyrinth! There are places for children to play, gift shops, and small places to eat but it doesn't feel overly 'touristy'. If you are going to be in the area, you should definitely give it a try.

I was living in Aachen, so I went on Sunday to this point. As hiking activity was really nice, because you get a really nice view on the way and when you arrive. Just take your time to enjoy the place.

Spent a whole day there.. Loved the park and walking through its trees and gardens, like a true forest, only without the wild animals :) You would never get bored there, just wear a pair of good sneakers! You will find many cafes and restaurants there, so take your time exploring.
