The Sprengel Museum was the only museum I visited while in Hannover. The permanent collections included ones from renowned artists as well as more unknown ones. It was partly organized by themes which was an interesting approach (and different than the "by artist" one).
The temp. exhibit was photography based and was very impressive and interesting with many fine pieces.
A good place to relax after a long day of meetings especially with the lake just across the street to complete the atmosphere
