A beautiful 14th century church, destroyed in World War 2. Now a war memorial with the Hiroshima peace bell

This is one of the churches bombed and destroyed during WW II by Allied bombs that has been left as a memorial to the horrors of the war. Currently (August 2011) it is undergoing renovation/stabilization of the ruins. It is not something I would make a special visit to but it is worth walking by and contemplating. Once the construction is complete, it might be woth a second look.
