This is a terrific hotel: friendly, efficient, comfortable. The public spaces are nothing special (though the breakfast room is rather nice), but the rooms are spacious, cleverly designed (contemporary without being starkly minimalist), and very comfortable. And the staff is uniformly gracious and cheerful. Highly recommended.

The location could not be better; directly across the train station.

There is not really a lobby as you would expect it in a grand hotel. However the staff member at the reception was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

I had a very nice room on the fifth floor; super room layout with a lot of room and storage space; modern equipment and bathroom; nice gadget: singing, digital shower control.

The breakfast room and selection is below average; breakfast is served in a little and outdated Souterrain room with no day light. However the lady serving breakfast was so warm and friendly - that she was able to create a comfortable breakfast experience despite the awful facilities. there are so many breakfast options nearby that I would just skip the hotel breakfast next time.

Summary: Great location and room; below average breakfast; exceptionally friendly staff. I would book it again.

We received a large room overlooking an inner yard. It had most of what was expected of a hotel of this type and yet was missing much. The windows have shutters that cannot be controlled but open and close as thy wish (sun control) this can find you sting in front of the open window in minimal cloths just because the system wants it. The shower is not closed with a door. Don't consider taking such room if you are sharing the room with a "stranger". Shower is big, floor is slippery and no efficient holing bars are around. The towels are more like sand paper - thin , old, scratchy - why? there is no lamp on the desk and lighting is minimal. The one big padded chair is positioned in a way the does not view the TV set. No water kettle or coffee machines where in the room. In contrast to that is fancy modern wooden cabinets and other amenities.. It was not a pleasant room to stay in. Breakfast was on the better ends of the scale (it is ok to make your eggs from eggs and not powder) and service was outstanding, immediately responding to every need. Location is fantastic, right across from the train station and next to the pedestrian streets.

I stayed for five nights in this hotel and was delighted by it. Despite its very central location (two minutes from the main railway station), it was absolutely calm and peaceful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is generous. The staff are helpful and thoughtful.

I spent 4 nights at Mussmann Hotel, traveling solo, during the Hannover Marathon. Everything was perfect, starting with the location: right in front of the historic translation and in the middle of everything. It was perfect to explore the city and the surroundings. I did a daily trip to Celle and after I went to Berlin so being close to the station (railway and also central bus station and two metro stations) was great.
The staff couldn't be nicer, the hotel and room is spotless. As the hotel is very well isolated I slept really well as mattresses are so comfortable. The room is great. I loved they don t have numbers but names. Also the breakfast is wonderful with so many options and among them some of my favourites. I felt like home.

Room Tip: I don't know I had a single room and it was very nice inner yard view
