We had a great Friday evening in this restaurant with some friends. Luckily, we had a reservation, because the place was full around 20:30 when we came. We were very attentively taken to our table, already engulfed in the atmosphere of candle light, columns, palm trees and ornate statues.
The food was very good and easy to pick to our non-German friends, because the menu is also written in English. The Lamb Tikka Masala was really spicy, but we shared four dishes among four people and there was also non-spicy food. For starters the Okra Raita is a must for us, accompanied with the usual Papadam.
For drinks, the Mango Lassi was delicious and we had a couple of Cobra beers, which are nice as well.
The worst of the evening was the service, which was a little bit slow. Being in good company it was not a problem, but it made us wonder a bit.
The price was really affordable for less than 70 EUR in total. In summary, a great place for a relaxed Indian evening.
