Wiesbaden, Germany is a delightful spa town with delicious free hot water springs, just bring your own paper cup. There are many imposing Victorian villas and I spotted Villa Clementine, called the Literaturhaus cafe. I thought just the place to write post cards and be literate. The elegant entrance and three varied and individual rooms of the cafe area were nearly deserted so I had the choice of lots of tables. The server heated up a salad and ham roll and a cuppuccino for a mere 7.40 euros, which considering the magnificence of the surroundings was a bargain.
