This was a wonderful way to spend a rainy day in Wiesbaden and a what a pleasant surprise! I was impressed with the extensive collections of the Old Masters as well as the more contemporary exhibits and nature collections. Such a pleasant array of art! The special Nanna exhibit of Anselm Feuerbachs was very well done. One reviewer mentioned poor signage and I would agree - I felt myself wandering and discovering new rooms and stumbling into previously visited rooms! But that was okay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The building itself was pretty and had a very impressive dome and tiling with mirrors to enhance the visuals. I would highly recommend a visit.
