On our 1st night in Wiesbaden we all went out to eat, my husband and his coworkers. I'm tagging along. This is my 1st time in Europe and what a wonderful 1st dinner this was. Service was great food was good! My husband ordered a beer and accidentally was brought a different one. He drank it and was given a beer on the house! At the end they brought everyone a Jagermeister shot to cleanse the palate on the house. I being 32 weeks pregnant was brought a shot of Orange Juice so I wouldn't be left out. This place was fun! Great service and there's a magic trick if you look to the ceiling!

All in all a rather nice place, which specializes on giving British and American ex-pats and tourists a taste of home. Has a good selection of beers and a great one of whisk(e)ys.

We tried it a few days ago and made the mistake of ordering Fish & Chips. The fish was almost non-existent - just a tiny slice of fish in a big chunk of deep-fried batter. The chips were okay but didn't taste like fresh chips, rather like something out of a big plastic bag in the freezer. After reading good reviews on this website, we definitely felt let down by the food.

Spending lots of time in Wiesbaden I stumbled upon this pub rather quickly and it has already become my regular pub when I am there.

Great selection of beers (includeing Guinness, Murphy Stout, Murphy Red), good wisky selection (one of my favourites Glendronach).
Surpisingly complex menu with steaks, burgers, typical pub grub, etc. All sounded good. The food coming out of the kitchen looked very tasty....and after trying so far (Burger, Lamb Curry, Flammkuchen) I was well impressed.
Also impressive is the staff especially the barman Gordon. A Glaswegian with a great sense of humour and precence that a good Pub (Scottish or Irish) needs. The rest of the staff are very attentive and always in good moods, and strike up conversations with everyone. Lots of regulars here. Mixed crowd of Germans, Americans both GIs and tourists, and ex-pat UKers.
Sat TV with the English Football/Champions Leauge, etc.
What else more can you want?
Great place Great Times Great Pub!

In the heart of the old center of Weisbaden at a crossroads of three charming streets. International selection of pretty good pub food. Try the bacon/onion Flammekuchen or Tarte Flambe from the Alsace region of France. The burgers were pretty decent too. Don't go for the Paste Arribiata unless you like fiery food. Outside seating also. Friendly owners. Lots of local expats hang out there.

This pub has a great atmosphere due to the very friendly owner. The fish n chips are very good but the burgers are very over cooked for my taste. Overall, it is a fun place to visit with friends for a pint or two.
