The Nerobergbahn is not only a pretty ride through the forest to the top of the hill, it is a true engineering feat. At the top, you have many options to walk trails, enjoy a snack and beverage at the small snack bar, visit the old Russian Church down a short path through the woods. There is also a club with a pool and restaurant along the pathway.

This funicular is a old construction dating from 19th century working up to date. Two wagons are traveling in opposite directions, transporting passengers from mountain to ground station in a short ride of about 5 min. Wagons are pullled by water tanks being filled each time the trains are moving. The view on Wiesbaden is beautiful and well worth a detour. Neroberg has lots to offer, ranging from a Russian chapel to tree climbing, a great view over wiesbaden and Rhine valley included. Neroberg swimming pool is also in reach in a Summer, however quite exclusive entrance fees won't please everyone. The funicular is operating from April to end of October

A trip up on a water driven cog train to a wonderful view of Wiesbaden. There are a few walks to do from the top and the Greek Orthodox Church was worth the effort.

It's recommended to take the train one way and walk the other way, there's a great view, a restaurant and several hiking trails around. On a sunny day -- a perfect day in nature, easily accessible 3km from the city centre.
