“The tapas was pretty good...the Paella was disappointing...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 4, 2013

Recently had dinner at Bodega De Musica. The tapas was very good. In my opinion, it's hard to find decent mexican/spanish food in Germany. We had a variety of chicken and seafood tapas, all very tasty.

In the beginning, service was very good. The server and I believe owner, greeted us and checked in a few times during our meal. Towards the end, I believe it was miscommunication, there was a delay in the delivery our Paella. We didn't know, or was told, it would take an hour to prepare. I think when we mentioned that we were in a rush, they quickly served the Paella...but it really lacked some spices and flavor that I'm used to in this kind of dish. A little disappointing.

I'm sure it was a fluke, and the experience would not preclude me from going there again. Because overall, I think the food was very good, perhaps I don't think we should have been in such a rush to eat and run. The owner was very accommodating when they found out there was a delay.

Atmosphere is nice. Just outside the pedestrian area of central Wiesbaden. Food is a bit pricey for the quantity. The sangria is good. Meal for 4 people and a child, to include 2 pitchers of sangria was 140 euros.

“Best tapas place I have been too so far in Germany!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 9, 2013

This is a great little tapas restaurant in Wiesbaden. Most folks don't know it even exists because it's a little off the beaten path, located just around the corner from the Holocaust Memorial. Do yourself a favor and head over there when you get the urge for some really authentic and tasty Spanish food. The menu is really large and you will be hard pressed to not find something on there that will suit whatever you are in the mood for. Of course when you think tapas, you think of all the little tasty dishes of Spain. This place does not disappoint. The food was great and everything was nice and hot when it got to the table. The atmosphere is great and the service was really friendly. It's the sort of place where you don't mind staying a few hours to enjoy drinks with friends. Do yourself a favor and walk the extra little bit from the center of Wiesbaden and try this place out. You won't be disappointed.

The Bodega de Musica is a fun place to meet up with friends and have a good time. It's a fun atmosphere. The food (tapas) is good. I enjoy the Sangria there very much.
